Lilgun burns hot, noticeably hot as in i cant touch my barrel after a few rounds hot.  I have not noticed this with 300mp.

Here is what I've done with 300-MP so far..

In the .357 Mags that I have 300-MP is superior to anything on the market presently.
In the .44 SuperBlackhawk, it's a toss-up.

I noticed that different makes of brass have different case capacities.  Winchester was the most spacious, and with them I was able to get the full listed charge in the case.  With Remington brass, I had to reduce the charge a little in order to have room to seat the bullet.

I don't hunt in the dark, so I could care less how flashy it is.  Cool thing about it, you don't have to use mag primers.

Thanks, that's good info. I haven't gotten any 300-MP to experiment with yet. I'm still pretty interested in how it will run in my Henry.

Hey Shadow
Yes, they both look very similar.
Interestingly, Hodgdon shows a pressure for 18.0grs of Lilgun of only 25,800 CUP..  Why?.. When every other powder is up to 39, 43,000 CUP.. The ones that are listed as CUP..
One would be led to believe that the charge could be bumped up a bit..  There would be just enough room for 19.8grs in a Win case for a 158gr bullet. Perhaps not in a Rem case though.
Sounds like a project.  Although, I hear the top frame cutting is fairly severe with Lilgun.
