Correction on my typing/memory process. I am running the 20 lb spring. part 49820 is that longslide 20lb recoil spring from Wolff.

A little case mouth hit is nothing.  I just resize those out.

This is good to know! If it is happening all the time how can I check for pressure signs via measuring the case when it gets so banged up all the time? Does this happen with most all the other Witness pistols in 10mm? Do the Glocks mess up brass like this as well?

Any pictures of the brass to see what's going on?

I'm looking at your part number... hmmm

49720 EAA WITNESS FULLSIZE, XP RECOIL SPRING 20LB   7.89   7.89

vs...
49820 EAA WITNESS LONGSLIDE, XP RECOIL SPRING 20LB   7.89   7.89

Now full-size I think is 4.5" version and long-slide is the 4.75" version which would cover the 6" Hunter as well.

In my 4.75" pistols I have 22's. I guess the full-size version and my Hunter, the 20lb that should be the long-slide version. Now I have to look at my spring bags!

I actually talked to Wolff today About them not making mag springs for the K10 10mm magazine.
While on the phone I asked about the recoil springs by model. I was told the springs are the same regardless of standard or long  slide. The difference is if you order a 20lb long slide spring you get a 22lb standard spring which yields 20lb in the long slide models. And every spring is a 2lb difference across the board.

I'll snag some more pics when I get home. I had a post over on the CZ forum about it that I linked to.

Ahh, this makes sense then.
