S & W 1006 used price?

I've been watching places like GB for a  S & W 1006, and hoping to find one in "like new condition"  the constant prices I am seeing are between $800.00 and $1100.00. How are these prices compared to what you folks are seeing?

Bought two from local sources within the last two years. One was a 1026 with 3 mags, box, papers, range bag and some ammo, it was $850 from an estate sale. Found out those were one of the lesser produced models and couldn't shoot it, later sold it for 1500. The second was a 1006, 3 mags, leather shoulder holster and a bunch of ammo for 750. Did not look to have been shot and I sold the holster for $80 and used the money to buy mag parts. I shoot it a couple times a year.
