Springfield Omega, 10mm or 45ACP slides on them?

Does anyone know if the slide breach face on the Springfield Omega pistols are sized for 10mm case heads or 45 ACP case heads?

Can a gun that was originally shipped in 10mm, be converted to 45 ACP with just a barrel swap?

BEEMER!

Most can be changed with a barrel swap an magazine.

Some only had an extractor on one side.  I believe any of the slides with dual extractors can shoot 45, 10, and 38 super.

the frame is a more or less a std 1911 ---originally they were made so that you could swap barrels (9mm, 38sup, 10mm, & 45acp) and a recoil spring assy and mag swap all in the same frame as the German's could only posses 1 handgun
if you have access to a linkless barrel (or can make one) then it should be just a drop in barrel/ recoil assembly/mag change

the unique H-D double extractor was the key to being able to swap in different caliber barrels

the weak point was the recoil spring assembly (which were caliber specific)

used to be, the "go-to guy" to ask Omega questions was Dave Williams at Springfield CS

Thanks for the replies.

I recently came up with a bunch of Omega barrels and wasn't sure if they would work in all the guns or not.
