Ruger, S&W and now Springfield are my short list of makers to never buy guns from again.

I'll still buy SA stuff but they'll come from the same place as my Smiths and Rugers: the used or consignment cases. That way the shop or owner gets the money and not the corporation.

Regarding S&W, they are owned by a US corporation now, not the English company that made a deal with Bill/Hillary.
Regarding Ruger, Bill Ruger has been dead for 2 decades.  Ruger ships 30 round mags with their semi-auto rifles.
Regarding S-A/RRA, I think we owe it to them to wait until all the info shakes out before making a snap judgement.

Gun control fanatics want gun companies to be shut down... Us not doing business with them doesn't help our cause, it helps the gun control folks.

Consider also, the whole point of a boycott is to get a company to change.  If you won't go back to them as a reward for them changing their behavior, then why would they bother changing?  It'd be like asking a dog to do a trick, but still not giving it a treat when it does the trick.

I agree we need to have all the facts before we rush to judge.

But on the face, it appears that SA and RRA were supporting legislation that would potentially shut down a bunch of IL companies, including negatively affecting some of their competition.

So, if these facts bear out, we need to shut them off and direct our dollars to other gun companies that weren't trying to leverage anti-gun legislation to their own short term advantage.

I'll be honest, though... until I see one in the rack at my LGS, I'm not holding my breath (the sad mantra of a 10mm fan).

OMG, a 10mm XDS would compete directly with the Glock 29, but in a slimmer package and certainly more concealable. I would be all over it! Will it ever happen? Probably not.

Yes! That would be nice indeed. My preference would be something in the MP45c size. I've always had the feeling that a S&W introduction of a new 10 would require changes equivalent to the widespread abandonment of Newtonian physics. Unless of course it was another goofy revolver.
