Got my Custom Delta Back from Derr Precision

Finally got my Delta Elite. I'll post up the SPEC sheet later. I opted to go with a RAMPLESS barrel but upgraded to a KART barrel. It offers way more support. Here are some pics.

Wow !! That is one sweet looking Colt Delta Elite ${$default_tongue_smiley}$ . I know I sure like mine a lot, and been shooting it quite a bit. I have had zero problems with mine and I do shoot some hot loads through it, only 3 casing have giving me the smiles and that was with Underwood 155gr fmj everything else is A ok.
My son took it to his CCW class last Saturday with a class of 35 people, and every one there like the Colt. Nick said that a lot of the students never heard of a 10mm and none of them ever heard one going off with a hefty charge of 800X ${$default_shocked_smiley}$ .
Needless to say there were a few more 10mm and Colt Delta Elite fans when the class was over with. And by the way he shot over 100rds there with out a hitch.

As a matter of fact my Kimber was sent back to the Factory a couple of weeks ago, and that was the 10mm that Nick wanted to take to his CCW class now he has change his opinion after putting over 100rds of full house loads through it.
I have been thinking that when I get my Kimber back and if it still has the all problems that I sent it in for it's going down the road and I will put that $$$ into sending my Colt Delta into there custom shop where I will have them up graded to the features that came on my Colt Combat Commander XSE. And that would take about 2 months.

Ruben, did that KART barrel have to be hand fitted to your DE?

Yes, Bushing, etc. all was hand fit. Was all part of my custom build for delta. All the work was done together.

I love making new 10mm fans like this. My sharp looking Elite Match has drawn some to the 10mm world. So has my Glock 29 shooting some loud Underwood and Sig loads. People will ask what I am shooting.
