Shockwave now in 20 Gauge with 3" Chamber.

All this talk about mods to the Shockwave are just poking the bear so to speak. We have good thing going here I just do not understand why some feel they have to poke that bear?????

Because we paid our cash for them, they are now ours. Any mods we do as long as it's not a stock and stays above 26" OAL it isn't hurting a thing. My Glock was perfectly fine as it was, but I paint or polish accents on it too.

Except you are messing with a touchy catagorization of weapon by ATF. For example if you were to use the shockwave and conceal it that would change the classification of that weapon immediately.  But its your hind end not mine.  ;D

I've contacted the ATF about everything I want to do to my Shockwave. I know any local PD is going to harass me about it regardless until someone straightens them out. So mine don't leave home. Just a bed side blaster.

No bed will survive getting blasted with a shockwave  :))

Next year I'm probably going to register it as an SBS so I can put a speed feed stock on it.

I tell-ya, my Mossberg 935 Magnum -Turkey 2 and three quarters to 3.5 with the Carlson coyote choke / heavy shoot dead coyote ammo is amazing, it's not a shorty by any stretch, but has a tight enough pattern to bring down dogs out to 55-65 yards. Bet it's pretty effective on two legged critters at 10-30 plus yards 😂

I shoot this gun just about every weekend. I have already gone through two cases of the the Federal LE buckshot with flight control wad. I absolutely love this gun for home defense and get better every outing. Shoulder mounted certainly has its place and this gun will never replace the untility of that platform. But this gun is dandy I hope they come W out with 20ga 3" chamber next. for now they cannot keep up with demand.

Around my home there's a Mossberg 500 riot gun with a full stock from an army helicopter pilot neighbor that had a pistol grip on it for when he flew missions.

I like to tuck the stock along my forearm and elbow for off the hip shots or shoulder it for more range. A pistol grip never fit my shooting style, I also have construction-worker wrist pain so a long stock provides needed leverage and better control of the slide.

And at 30 feet or less even heavy dove shot loads pulverize flesh like running it through a sieve.
The 20 inch swings quickly with an open cylinder 7 round magazine it works for short range bird hunting too and is easy to carry.

Mossberg makes some great defensive shotguns. They have expanded this line far beyond what I expected 12,20, 410 and now the magazine fed Shockwave.

I am good with any choice a person makes to protect their family and themselves. I just say practice practice practice.
