Mag360, for self defense you would be better off with an expanding round, to help prevent the pass through that could injure an innocent bystander.   Hunting where you are out in the open or wooded areas that's usually not a problem.

Yeah it would be for trails or camping.  If it works good on 200lb hogs it should be good for self defense against meth heads.
