Mag360, for self defense you would be better off with an expanding round, to help prevent the pass through that could injure an innocent bystander. :(  Hunting where you are out in the open or wooded areas that's usually not a problem.

Yeah it would be for trails or camping.  If it works good on 200lb hogs it should be good for self defense against meth heads.
