We could only wish that Speer would make us 10mm guys a 200 gr Gold Dot, of similar design that will work well @ 1200 fps. ;)

But because there will be no contracts for such ammo they will not devote resources to such developments... ::)

If we buy enough of the Federal Trophy Bonded 180 gr SP and the Hornady Critical Duty 175 gr, maybe Speer will throw a little love our way. I think 10mm is gaining popularity.

I am so fed up with the "law enforcement" "duty" marketing bull shit.  Its all the same bullets quit giving anti gun idiots arguments and politicians and DA's stupid ideas. I sent federal an email regardig this yesterday.  Tired tired tired of that crap.  They dont even put the good flash supressed powder in the HST "personal" defense 20rd box, saw a video tnoutdoors9 uploaded and the flash was visibky brighter than the "duty tactical" hst.

If he reported that to be the case, then I would trust his word, but you shouldn't base decisions based on video. A muzzle flash is an event that is such a short duration that it often happens between camera frames. That's why video sometimes makes it appear that the flash is dimmer or doesn't happen at all for some rounds even though the shooter is firing a magazine full of the same kind of ammo. To the human eye (or a high speed camera), the flash was exactly the same each time.

Quick 2

9mm Gold Dots have been my main choice for years but 124+p not the 147 that didn't make it the first time. With the 124+p at 1250fps and the 115+p+ at 1350 why would anyone want a subsonic round in the 9mm. Don't get me wrong I love the 9 carry 2 everyday and if I leave the small town I live in I add a 3rd. I figure 76rds of 124+p should get me out of anything I will ever get into.
