sent messages not showing up in sent message box

sent one yesterday well i thought i did but it was not in sent box. so i sent another just now and it is not in the sent box.  is this common or do members have an option not to receive messages or block certain people?

You have to click the box that says "Save a copy to my outbox" before you send the message.
