With the Fusion and the pkg of additional springs, did it give info on what/when to change. What to be looking for?

Ya. You would be fine with the set up you have for factory loads. Probably pushing a 180 gram about 1100-1150 fps. Underwood  and some reloaders are pushing same bullet 1300-1400 fps. That's the reason for the springs and firing pin stop. For the hotter loads if don't have the springs and stop the push rod will start eating into the frame and you would start getting hammer marks on the top of your beaver tail. These are some of the things I was told.

The throwing of brass is characteristic of a 10mm I believe even with springs guys have said they were throwing brass 15 ft. Have done a lot of research on 1911forum and this one. It great to hear what other people with the same gun have to say.

I am a regular on the 1911 forum,as well. Mine came with a. 16 or 18lb. It was sloppy loose. I do have a Wolff 22 and. 24 recoil spring I can try, just not a heavier mainspring. Steve

Might add that the square bottom firing pin stop was one of the 1st things I did

I'm shooting mostly Remington 180 gr. i've currently got a 20 recoil but shells are still being thrown a good 20 ft. Might have to try the 22lb recoil. But what is the determining factor on the mainspring? Steve

Increasing the recoil spring even more will put more stress on the frame when the slide slams closed.  Increasing the weight of the mainspring and using a flat bottom firing pin stop both work to slow the slide and absorb energy when the slide is moving rearward, which helps with the brass throwing.

The firing pin stop swap and 22# recoil spring together did less for reducing the brass throwing than a 25# mainspring.  I have now done all three and the brass land a more reasonable distance away.  YMMV.

My RIA is running: 18# recoil spring, 28# mainspring, and Wilson flat bottom FPS. ALL my 10mm will launch the cases into low earth orbit with Norma spec ammo. I load my 180gr for around 1225fps. Easier on my guns and still stout enough for SD practice once a week.
