I have a few Glocks;
G-29 was my first 2008

G-20SF is factory stock also a LWD 6" 9x25Dillon barrel not shown that really brings the performance up for that one.

Cool!

   Ben has told me I can't turn to the dark side!

I have seen these 9x25 barrels,  I am curious how a 9x25 compares to a 10mm?  seems like it would be good for hunting?

90 grain bullets at 2000 fps are reported from 6" barrels in 9X25.  It was originally conceived to accomplish two things:

First, safely make major in IPSC.

Second, provide lots of gas to drive a compensator in the unlimited division of same.

A side effect is insane velocities with light slugs, which make it very flat.  It would definitely "grenade" a rock chuck or pot belly a good ways out compared to other handgun rounds.

I will say that Studying the 9x25 Dillon, you need a 6" barrel to get the better yield. That shorter 3.78" 9x25Dillon barrel in the G-29 makes slightly better than the 357Sig is the same.  The 9x25Dillon 5" barrel I have in the S&W1006 is better but the 6" is where it comes alive.

I am curious to see what a 9" barrel would do if they ever LWD makes one.  I am tempted to get a 10mm LWD 9" for my G-20, to play around with.

You need to understand the Glock pistols, understand their workings and tune if necessary.

thanks, learned something about that round.
seems 6" is the magic number for both the 10mm and 9x25.  if you can get a long slide threaded 9x25 that yield about 6 1/2" on a glock

Sold my Glock, just can't love that gun.  Still have Smith, EAA and my love STI Perfect 10.  The 6" barrel makes it the perfect shooting gun.  The 6" barrel and 200 gr Underwood Ammo drop anything deer size and smaller that I have shoot.  It now holds 20+1 which is more than my Glock held.
