She was shooting constantly low with the factory fixed sights so I picked up a 3 dot PSI adjustable rear and had it installed today.
She groups well but is still a little low. I will come back to the range with some real 10mm loads and really dial it in a little later as today I only had 20 rounds of Horniday on hand.  I also want to pickup a new spring set for her as it's still running the set that came in it when I bought her that is a real ? She is sure throwing the cases a mile with hot stuff like the Underwood so the recoil spring is likely weak. I need to get her right before I really dial it in and run a few hundred full power rounds down the pipe. Till now in this one I have been mostly just running the wimpy stuff like the Priv through it on the range. It's about to get real!
Already I can tell that the 1066 is grouping better than my Glock 29 just got to really get the new sights dialed in right at say 25 yards. I will pick up a few boxes of some thing full power like Underwood FMJ's to really dial her in with. Got a few boxes of Underwood 165 grain JHP but hate to burn my carry ammo right now.
Like these sights a LOT so far as they look great on the pistol and I love the sight picture with the new rear using the factory 3 dot front!!
I had my trusty old adjustable sights 9mm High Power with me today and shot a number of sub 2 inch groups at 10 yards with it. I fully expect that once I get the 1066 really dialed in it will be the = or better to the High Power in accuracy.

Good news! So you like the sights? My 1006 was a low shooter until I changed them out but that corrected it 100%. I would for sure put a fresh spring in it... mine throws the hot stuff about 12 feet.

Very nice looking sights! 8)  Did you change the front sight also?   ???

I run the extra power Wolff Springs in mine 20-22 lbs for the S&W's  the 24 lb is too much in my opinion but does work, just too hard to rack the slide!

Front sight is the stock one. i am thinking of running the 20 lbs spring in her as that is above stock but should still cycle the wimpy stuff I use like the Priv for the range well.
On the sight bro I love it and thanks for your input on this one. It looks really good on the 1066 and  I like the sight picture. When I get it dialed in like I want it this one should be a great shooter.
