Took my compact to range today. It was a total replacement by EAA after my last one which I discovered a crack in frame.Well it ran smooth. The slides are diff as they are thicker and have serrations on front as well as back. I used as a start some Armscor and proceed to use PPU and then Selways 180 H/P's. Damn thing is just as accurate as the last one. Factory mag had a few ftf's, I expected that, springs are weak. I had 4 others from last compact with Wolffs extra5%.No problems at all. With these load settings, the pistol works well. It is not a heavy 10 by any stretch. She will be a bedroom table companion. EAA back up their warranty.

I'm liking my new model as well. It's a full size but it's obvious the quality has improved remarkably over the 2006-2011 models.

Great news you all need to post pictures of these newer pistols!   8)

Ill do follow up pics. I think also it has a extended mag release, similar to the Match. And like Grim said, quality has improved. I will notify EAA of latest results.
