The server or host maybe having issues...I am communicating with Grim Reaper and he is having to reset the database.
He sent me this a little while ago after I reported the site being down...

This has only started recently when Hostgator moved us to a different server. They are currently looking into it. Until we get this resolved, please let me know as soon as you notice the site is down. I will keep running the database repair to fix it until a solution is found.

I don't have any problems getting on, but that could just be timing. However I have noticed this site seems to be very slow at times in regards to response time compared to others I frequent. Not really an issue for me as I have no life , just an observation.

"Simple Machines" is just software, distributed by the developer for individual/independent use. Website performance and accessibility is dependent on the server/host. Simple Machines isn't hosting this website, so other sites using the same software won't likely experience the same performance and accessibility.
