EAA/Tanfoglio no longer producing blued models in standard Witness?

Just checked the EAA website and the blued/black standard base model Witness is no longer listed. Just Wonder finish. Weird because I just purchased one but maybe they are no longer going to import the blue ones?

They call it "blued" but I'm not exactly sure what it is that gives guns that black color. It's not true "bluing." It will scrape off in holsters or if scratched.

As far as I know, the 45 / 22 or the 9 / 22 Combos still come in the Blue / Black Finish

The 9 / 22 must not have sold well enough to keep them around

I had a 45 / 22 Combo for a short time, a few years back
I put the Hogue Grips on it and found them too thick for my Hand
And since I don't shoot or reload for 45acp, I sold the set
It was actually very nice set-up though

They come and go.  When I bought my Witness they only cataloged the Wonder finish as well.
