Is this what we are coming to?  Am I starting to panic?  Midway has 10mm Magnum, can I trim it to 10mm Auto specs?  I can't find brass anywhere, and even though I don't want to panic, I just don't see an end in sight!

They say that you can place your order with Star Line and they will ship sooner than expected so I'm told.   ???

WHO IS THEY!?!?!?!?!   :o

Sorry, I know, I just hate playing the backorder game.  I may have to do that though, I am down to only a couple hundred brass.  I have more bullets than brass and that always makes me jumpy.

At present Starline is not allowing backorders on 10mm. I checked again just now as I knew they were not a couple of days ago when I backordered some 357 SIG.

I believe the Case Capacity is reduces due to the internal tapering, and the Case Wall will be thicker at the Case Mouth after trimming
But I do not have firsthand knowledge of the 10mm Mag Brass in question
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

I don't shoot 10mm Mag, but have/had a bunch of the brass.  They work fine after trimming.  Some chambers/leades are more tight, so lead bullets (.401+) may be questionable (although I haven't had an issue).  .400 jacketed bullets, no problem.  If you are shooting in an OEM barrel, it's not an issue.  BTW, I don't cut them down with a length trimmer.  I use a (mini) tubing cutter to get them close, then trim with a Lee case length trimmer on my cordless drill.  Otherwise, that's a lot of heat on the tool, which will take its toll.  No issues after that.

I am among the "they".  I have ordered from Starline twice, both times on back-order.  Both times I had brass in hand at least a week before the back-in-stock date they had on the website when I ordered.

Based on the current "no back-orders", I am now very glad I have a couple thousand on hand.

Starline posted a big note that they are not taking any 10mm backorders until further notice. Times are hard guys and the end is not in sight.
