I was in the LGS yesterday and a guy stepped up to the counter looking for 9mm ammo. Everyone about laughed and same for the .308 someone else was looking for. The counter guy said they expect something in 6 mos. How's that for a check-back date!

Supply matters but demand matters more. If you get caught up on supply and you can still keep the price up you win twice. I been around businesses both big and small and everything is in the perception of the item. Can I get it now,can I get it tomorrow,if not I will buy it all now, price is high, who cares got to have it, shortages, low supply etc. can be mamafactures. I give you the gas companies in 1972-73. We are out of gas and there will always be a shortage. That was about oh 40 years ago and seems we have burned a few trillion gallons since then and at about 10 times the price. Se my point. i can if enought go along set the price of anything. And the one guy who sells his a little cheaper will stay out of stock and still make the same amount of money. You can ramp up a plant in no time especially a smaller one. Now somebody like Federal it takes a little more time and money. The smaller the operation the easier it is to double your output and double your income.
