Was ordering another G30 holster today. On the holster manufactures drop down ?weapon type? I had two choices, 30S, or 30SF. This is where it gets kinda funny. On the slide, it says Glock 30S, but on the frame it says 30SF. I did buy this weapon new aprx 10 years ago. Needless to say I noticed the frame markings after ordering the 30S kydex holster, just hope it fits as well as others from the same outfit.

Also, the SN?s on the slide, barrel, and frame all match

30S = slimmer slide
30SF = slimmer frame.

So you have a Glock 30 with the slim frame (SF) and the slim slide(S).  This is typical as the slim slide came out a year or two after the slim frame.

You need the 30S holster.

Always thought SF stood for short frame, but was apparently mistaken 😀, I will say, it?s been a lot of fun, and is incredibly reliable

I think you are correct that Glock positions it as "short frame".  I used "slimmer" as colloquialism to unify the goals of the 30S and 30SF.

Thanks again for the clarification, you explained the difference?s very well
