Ooof.... that barrel bushing was TIGHT. Field strip was successful. All my handloads passed the plunk test. I can't wait to find some range time.

I was able to chronograph 3 different loads. All were with new Starline brass and Win WLP Primers:

Berry's plated 180gr
COL 1.260
10.2gr Blue Dot
28 rounds measured, 10ft from muzzle:
Average FPS: 1223
Standard Dev.: 26

Hornady XTP 180gr
COL 1.260
10.2gr Blue Dot
5 rounds measured, 10ft from muzzle:
Average FPS: 1251
Standard Dev.: 23

Hornady XTP 200gr
COL 1.260
8.6gr Blue Dot
5 rounds measured, 10ft from muzzle:
Average FPS: 1078
Standard Dev.: 13

Phew, so maybe I got lucky. 

I WAS MISINFORMED.....SORRY!

I doubled checked with Springfield Customer Service today, and the RO Elite is NOT being discontinued.   Springfield, however, will not be building ANY 10mm guns for the remainder of this year and in to early 2022, so for all practical purposes, they are unavailable from the factory.  Production will concentrate on the more popular models and new upcoming models for ths foreseeable future. 

All this is straight from Springfield Armory as of today.  Sorry for the confusion.

I managed to "create" a vedder style holster... let's just say my craftmanship could use some work. It was "good enough" in the sense that it retained the pistol and covered the trigger. I ended up finding a deeply discounted holster on the Crossbreed seconds website for about 50% off. I'm happy with that one as well. It came as pictured. Looked like someone slipped a gun in once, then never carried anything in it. It carries comfortably too.
