Searched for threads about the Grand Power 10mm pistols, and most all the threads were from 2015 to 2018. There are barely any on Gunbroker. Have they faded into near oblivion?  If there are any Grand Power 10mm owners here, please chime in and share your experiences and opinions.  I am wondering how do they feel in the hand compared a Glock 20? Is there any factory support in the US?  Are parts and spare magazines available? If it is going the way if the Bren 10, then I won't waste any more time on research.

Morning Neal,
I was looking a one a few weeks back, and should have gotten it. As for the grip feel, I really liked it

Kenk,  Have you shot or handed a Glock 20? I have owned 2 of them. They have some advantages, but several negatives too, one being they have the wrong grip angle and they are huge. Like gripping a 2X4, at least for people that do not have huge hands.  Sold mine.

Kenk

Yea, I sold my G20 as well, as money was tight at the time and I wanted something different. All and all it wasn't a bad weapon, and the KKM barrel made it even better

I absolutely love mine. I put a vortex viper on it and enjoy it even more. This one ranks right up there with my tanfoglio stock II.

Recently picked one up from Double M Defense, via GB. Good price and they had 6 shown in stock when ordered. I have not handled the Glocks but read several Grand Power review articles and watched the Tube. Articles and Tube reviews were very complimentary. I like the rotating barrel. It's a substantial hunk of steel. And it's from Slovakia like my grandparents.

I'll take a look at the cartridge support compared to my Dan Wesson Pointman 7 and Ruger P-89. It's not the L  version, barrel length is 4.3". I like the feel, the double action and ambi controls. The trigger is polymer, shoe at least, with vertical grooves. I like my Ruger's smooth trigger and I filled the P40's trigger grooves with Devcon Steel filled epoxy and filed it smooth, much nicer in my mind. I have large hands, and I like the grip size and stipple/pattern. Magazine springs are intense. There is vendor 3-D printing nylon mag extensions and I got those to go on the three14-rnd. factory magazine. Sights are fixed, mine did not have the extra front sight some reviews reported. The rear has locking screw for windage fixing.

Times being what they are there is no ammunition so I got some Winchester brass, a six cavity Lee 175 grain TL mold. I cast up a bunch of bullets and loaded Titegroup over CCI LPP using a Lee four die set.

I checked a number of sources for load information and loaded five sets, down by tenths from a conservative consensus max load. One tenth grain under the top load put ten in the x-ring of my 9" paper plates at 15 yds. so that's the load i filled up the rest of the brass with.

It does tend to launch brass and I only got 200 to start so I'm thinking of the rail mounted catcher from http://www.sherwoodakuna.com I'll probably get one of those, seems easier and more portable than a big net system.

I'll be shooting it in moderation, I'm down to my last thousand primers, lots of bullets, and if I catch my brass that will work out.

Welcome BJDDA50,
Sounds like you've got things covered. Enjoy and be safe

Love my GP. About 6 months ago I found another one (this one in .40) on GB and made the minimum bid of $380 for it and won the auction. I've been meaning to get the barrel reamed for 10mm, one of these days I will get around to it.

Global Ordnance is the US distributor for GP. If you go to their website, it can be a little finicky. Don't use the drop down for handguns, it will only show three Grand Power pistols available. Instead use the "Brands" tab and go to "G" and choose Grand Power. They are listing a standard P40 10mm for $560. I have also seen the P40L 10mm on there for around $770. It seems that the Stribog is hot GP item now and what is being imported most.

Also, most of these importers only do imports a couple times of year.  It is just as much hassle to import 1 as 1,000.  As a result you will see a huge number of an item on Gunbroker, that will dwindle down to none, then repeat.
