Anyone shot or handled the M&P9 Shield EZ? My daughter works with a gal that?s looking into a carry weapon, however strength is an issue when it comes to racking the slide?Thoughts

Been kicking this around for my wife as the Sig 938 is hard for her to chamber a round due to her Lupus. Also been kicking around a 9mm revolver too.

I know that's not much help, but I would like to know from actual users, because it's apparent that the youtubers give rave reviews (so they keep getting stuff to review) and/or they repeat what others (on YouTube) have already stated (monkey see, monkey do)!!!!!

I see this is an old thread.  My shooting buddy has a 9MM Shield EZ and I have the EZ in 30 Super Carry.  The slides really are "EZ" to rack compared to the non EZ models.  I don't know how they do it but it works and does not seem to have any detrimental effect on the gun function.

My buddy does not like the grip safety function but I do like it.  I think his issue with grip safety is due to his huge hands and the relatively small grip of the single stack EZ.  He shoots 1911s with grip safeties and has no problem.

I really like the grip safety on my XDm 3.8 9mm. I have extra large hands as well, but don?t even notice the safety most of the time
