I just bought a new Springfield XDM elite 10mm with a 4.5" barrel and ordered some Missouri 200 grain TCFP  hard cast hi tek bullets and was wondering if anybody on here has any load data for this bullet or some other 200 grain  hard cast  bullet data velocity and accuracy.  I am looking for a stout load for caring in the woods for animal defense. Thanks

Welcome shortstuf57, you?ve come to the right place

What powders do you have to work with?

8.2 to 8.4 grains of BE-86 has been great for my cast and JHP
10.4 grains of Blue Dot works well

As of right now I only have longshot, CFE Pistol, titegroup and Unique powder that would somewhat work for the 10mm. Right now Longshot is the best 10mm powder I have on hand.  I will get  some new powder that will work better for the 10 if I can get some new good get data. Most of my pistol loading now is for the 357 mag, 44 mag, 460 S&W and the 500 S&W.  My goal is to find a good accurate  stout 200 grain cast load for woods carry. Thanks for any help.

Afternoon shortstuf57, as The Shadow suggested, BE-86, or Blue Dot are fantastic powders if you can find them. Other than being kind of flashy, Blue Dot has proven to be extremely accurate.
