Was was looking over Underwood?s in stock ammo selection earlier, and noticed something I haven?t given much thought about. Other than their lehigh defense and hard cast bullets, they really only offer Hornady XTP, Nosler Sporting JHP, and Speer GD styles. What caught my eye was their ?Bullet Brand : Underwood Ammo? style bullet. Anyone actually know who makes them, or any of their technical attributes? Below is how they are listed on Underwood?s site.

It?s a bonded bullet, and is very close in comparison to Hornady. As for the manufacture, we make this bullet, and has a penetration depth of 12-12.5 inches.

Interesting that they are now  making their own JHP?s 😀
