I was processing some 45 colt for a friends little boy who shoots a judge 45 long colt. I tried to resize the brass but was getting a large bulge in the case. After 5 bulges and resetting the resixer and flare dies I looked and sure enough I was working on 44 mag cases!!!!! I have never reloaded 44 mag except once when a friend gave me the dies and brass. I reloaded and gave back all his stuff. I must have bought the 44 mag cases thinking I was getting 45 long colt but was mixed up. At leased I caught it before trying to do a bunch. I will say the two cases are the same in a lot of respects. Oh well caught that one!!!!  Craig

It's kind of a long story but I started by ordering 2000 from castle arms. They had a bad delivery problem so offered me more primers of a different brand so I took those. At the same time I was offered 4000 from American Reloading and got those coming. 6000+ ought to hold me for a while if they show up.  Craig

Fed x sent me an e-mail saying the delivery is delayed 2 days. Big surprise!! UPS is on schedule but 2 day's out.  I just don't get it. Craig

Well just got a e-mail from American Reloading and some orders are screwed up. Pobably mine as it's the way things are going lately for me!! I did buy 100 Winchester primers today at the range where I shoot now. I loaded them all up waiting for fed x to make a delivery to me. Yep primers!! Oh yeah the 100 primers were 8.04 with tax. I know I got screwed but I got to reload today and the Win primers were real nice and it is what I have always used. Oh yeah shot good today as I have been sitting waiting for delivery's for three days. Oh well.  Craig

Hey Craig, yea, I?d letem take me for $8 something per hundred, at least for three or four flats, the hazmat fee always makes it hurt a little more if they have to be shipped. I have a bunch of LP, but very few small pistol. Have a great weekend

Fed X showed up today with 2100 primers. Fed X making a delivery on Sunday who'd  knew? They were Fiochi or how ever you spell it. I will be loading tomorrow as I am waiting for ups to bring 4000 more primers. I should be set for a while. Craig

Topped off a box with a quick 20 so I am down to 2080 small primers. I am getting 4000 more tomorrow but I will believe it when it happens.  Craig

OK the 4000 primers shewed up today so I am up to 6000 small pistol primers total. I have loaded 150 9mm various and shot some today no problems. Life is good!!!!! Craig

Taking a little break!! I have loaded 100 jhp and 200 fmj some for a friend and finished off with 50 blue bullets. Oh I topped off 67 jhp in two different boxes. I was concerned this morning as I wasn't sure I had brass but found three cans full like 4 to 6 thousand without looking further. It's nice to be reloading without worrying about if you have enough stuff to do it all. I am all so doing brass wet tumbling as I go 200 at a time as I can't easily get more in the George Foreman oven!! Totally caught up with half a days reloading!!!  Craig
