Hi all.  I picked up a Glock 20 about 9 years ago and have only shot it a few times.  Been mostly overseas since its purchase and making my way back to the US this year.  I had been looking forward to trying it for hunting but the idea of using it as a carry gun has crossed my mind a few times this month...

Welcome Socorro27, as for carrying a larger pistol, it?s really not that  bad. For me, a rigid leather gun belt, a high quality holster, and the ability to dress around your weapon has been key. Your going to enjoy that G20!

I'm new here and finally logged in to introduce myself.  I am a retired Marine living in eastern NC who enjoys the outdoors (hunting, fishing, archery and shooting). I bought a Glock 40 and want to use it for hunting.  I have it topped off with a vortex venom. I killed 3 deer last year with a .357 so a 10mm should do the job also. I also reload so experimenting with different loads is fun for me.  I have gleaned a lot of knowledge from the forum as this is my first Glock.  Now I want one for concealed carry.  Possibly a G29. We'll see!
