Been looking at this gun for 2 days and went to buy it and it's only 8 round clip so I passed on it. Nice looking gun and I thought no one deserved it more than me.  Craig

I have a 45 ACP Tisas and it is a great gun.  All the good and bad of a USGI 1911A1.  The bad includes sights and hammer bite, the good being forged frame and slide.

I have no doubt the 9mm variant would make a great gun too.

Yeah SQL I have a Remington 1911A1 that is brand new like I shot it 10 times and don't like to shoot 45 in general. But thinking on this 8 round mag I could live with that as I shoot for myself and can make anything work. I'll give it a couple more days then maybe pick it up.  Craig

For $10 you can exchange them for Ed Brown 9 round mags:

I was thinking I needed 15 round for carry but would not carry this gun anyway so it's a mute point. Will rethink this whole thing.  Craig

Of everyone I knew that owned a 1911 the only ones I KNOW carried them were ranchers and gun/pawn shop owners. That's not to say nobody carries one it's pretty uncommon.

IMO, many who really appreciate handgun shooting at one time or another gets a 1911. I wonder if owners of more modern guns from S&W, Glock, and Sig among others will be saying that 110 years from now.

I carried my P16-40 until I bought my Glock 20.  The weight difference sold me.
