So I tested out some loads today using 180gr XTP's and Longshot. My best group was with 7.5gr of Longshot. I'm wondering if someone has run 7.5gr's of Longshot over a chronograph? I'm shooting it out of a Glock 29 but I'm just interested in hearing if anyone has chronoed this load before. If so, can you share your findings and tell what firearm was used. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum 10mm Bandit.  Having documented many of the hotter 10mm ammo as sold by the boutique loaders over the years, Longshot was used by Double Tap, Underwood, Fenix and SwampFox ammo as well.
Some of those loads were extreme others were more reasonable loadings using Longshot powder.
Most were over the published data we find out there of 9.5 grains @ 1287 fps 34,600 PSI.
Swampfox was pushing the limits of the cartridge but had warnings for needs of fully supported chambers and extra power recoil systems...his 180 grain XTPs were making 1350 fps from the 5" pistols

In my personal loadings for the 180 grain XTP I stop at 9.6 grains of LS as it is safer for most pistols and brass being used...

Like blaster, this is one of my 40S&W loads.
7.5gr  Longshot  180.0gr

In 10mm, I'd expect just under 1,100fps out of my 4" M610.  Longshot is not one of my more accurate 10mm powders.

Hence the reason I use 10.4gr's BD, it's not a hot rd, but is more accurate than I am

I second the 10.4 grs blue dot.
Over 1300fps from my Glock model 40.
