I purchased a Mech Tech Carbine Upper for an extra model 20 SF frame I had. I received it last week. I had some time yesterday so assembled it put a set of open sights on it and ran some rounds through it.

It was easy to assemble everything works great it functioned flawlessly with three 10 round mags. It's accurate and easy to shoot compact and very easy to handle and stay on target. Very pleased with this unit. It will make an outstanding truck gun...

I bought a first generation about 20 years ago or so for a 1911.

They are s lot fun and really handy.

My only negative about it is the wire stock acts like a tuning fork every pull of the trigger; BOOIINNGG!! , right in your ear. A bit distracting indeed. So glad they have remedied that with newer models.

I've often thought of buying one for the G20.

I have not heard that effect but so far it's darn nice the trigger pull is a little long but this is truck gun with defense duty. Plus I can adjust it some in the trigger itself. That said I a, really impressed with the accuracy.

Not surprised though the 10 in carbine format is just inherently accurate. I have an 18 G2 barrel that is a one hole puncher in 10mm. I also have Kriss same thing very accurate.
