I have been comparing prices mainly at Midway comparing to what I remember of my costs and it was an eye opener for sure. Let me assure you you are saving mega bucks reloading vs buying at this time. I looked at 45 long colt and 300 blackout just for comparison. I just can't believe today retail on stuff you have to buy.  Craig

That is if you can find any retail ammo.  I recently finished a 458 SOCOM build and wanted to test it out with some factory ammo.  Underwood had two options, but around $2.50 a shot.  I picked up a box of 20 rounds.

The second problem is component availability and pricing.  I was loading up some 7.62X54R yesterday with cast bullets.  I was deciding if I was going to gas check them or just run them with the already applied powder-coat on the cast bullets.  I checked availability of gas checks and that made up my mind. Powder coat only it was.

Unfortunately I ran out of day before I got that project finished.  I guess I will test out those loads next trip to the cabin.

Absolutely, the in store / online prices are just crazy

Went to a gun shore today and even the people walking around had prices that were out of site. Saved me a lot of cash though!!  Craig
