I recently purchased my first striker fired handgun.

A XDM-10.  I'm thinking about getting some Talon grips.  This will primarily be used in a gunfighters inc chest holster for bear protection.

Ya'll w the talon grips, fo you recommend the granular, rubber, or pro?

Thank you!

I have the granular on my XDm 10. The rubber ones are too slick for my liking.

I got mine from Powder River Precision.

Pro.  I have them on all my guns and they are great.  The only issue I have run into is that the coating is coming off on my g29.  It may just be because I shoot it a lot but it is definitely coming off in several places.  Talon sent me a free replacement though so I'm very happy.  I have it on 4 other guns and the only one with issues is my g29 which is my CCW so it justs heavy use.

I use Talon grips on most of my semi-auto pistols.  Personally favor the extra grip they provide.  Not personally tried the Pro material yet.  I typically use the Rubber grips for ccw pistols, Granular for non-ccw pistols (it'll chew up your skin and shirt).
Haven't had any real issues with durability, but CLP and other gun oils will cause them to loosen and come up.  Two or three years seems to be about the length the grips seem to last for me but again, that's probably do to significant use and not as careful with the gun oil as I could be.

If you order from the website you can use "JustinO" in the discount code line and get 10% off (he's a youtube guy that promotes them).

I ordered the rubber Talon grips for my XDM10. It's definitely an improvement. A little more grip wouldn't hurt, but the granular might. I may eventually order the Pro and see what that's like.
