Super-cool, and I'd love to have one...but I don't see any future for it. There are other cartridges that can be shot out of that platform that will breach body armor, and 10mm won't. Given the prevalence of body armor in any armed conflict, I think it's a great weapon with negligible value. No matter what crap-hole conflict you visit these days, anyone who can afford to fight a conflict can afford soft body armor, and they do.

As for budget...guess it just depends on how you want to spend your fun tickets. Seems like a few people around here have at least that or more tied up in a variety of guns they don't shoot more than a couple hours a year. Do you want three 10mm 1911's with associated magazines, holsters, sight upgrades and trigger jobs, or one super-cool SMG? Price is pretty much the same for each option...
