The last couple days, I have loaded 400 rounds of 9mm for my best friend and another 300 for my competition gun. I am about burned out on 9mm and am in need of dome 10mm therapy.

I did find a good source for 9mm bullets. One of the very few places that has bullets in stock and ready to ship. Sadly, they do not stock .401 bullets....yet. i have talked to the owner of the company and he said he would take a look at the market and see if investing in that caliber would be worthwhile. Fingers crossed!!

de primed, resized, flared and re primed 304 pieces of 10mm brass. loaded up 50 with A #9 & 180 gr HST bullets. going to try to shoot them today to see if I like them.

You should like them as I did when reloaded the same a year or so ago. AA9 is the most powerful powder I use with 10mm or it seems that way. I still like the 180 HST as I got some as pulldowns and are all loaded and tested. Craig

Well I finished a bunch of 45 some for a friend and some for me with Starline brass that I had for years but I though  never loaded except when I put these new loads in storage I found a few hundred already loaded!! Kind of sums me up. Well I moved on to 300 blackout for another friend that I hate to load but it went well as I was going to do some over a few days and finished all in one sitting. Am ready for the next gun show this coming weekend.  Craig

I guess you know your reloading when you have to order more plastic ammo boxes from MTM. Got like 60.00 worth coming.  Craig

last night I loaded up 229 rds. of 10mm. 109 with 165 gr. plated bullets and 10.8 gr. of Long Shot and 120 with 200 gr plated bullets and 9 gr. of Long Shot,

Thanks for the welcome guys. :D

I'm set on powder and primers. Good advice on plated bullets, break through the coating and you get problems.

Have 2k range brass wet tumbled, 1k in this pic.

Spent several days casting several calibers and this what I powder coated for 10 mm.

Got some loading to do.

Found some powders I'd been looking for
Got in a back order of 5.56 finally( really wish I'd ordered more at the time but oh well)
Made an inventory of powder, primer, projectiles
Sized/deprived a couple hundred 9mm, and about 50 38 super case.

It's just good old fashion swage jacketed bullets.  RCBS got it's start making .224 bullets from spent 22LR cases (Rock Chuck Bullet Swage).

About 10-12 years back a guy named Brian Thurner (BTSniper) over at cast boolits latched onto the idea of using spent 9mm cases as a jacket.  I don't think he came up with the idea, he just really grabbed on to ride the bull as it were.

The problems he solved were related to using a thick brass case of a 9mm (or 40 S&W for 44 mag bullets) instead of purchased copper or using thin 22lr/magnum cases.  He also made a bunch of headway in making the process fast and efficient.

Here is a thirty something page thread at cast boolits about his products:  http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?117577-BTSniper-Custom-Tools-and-Dies

http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?398657-400-price-and-options  Direct link to the .40 bullet.  The rims on the 9mm case also swage to .40.   Waiting on the heat to go away to cast some lead for copper jackets that I have on hand.
