Well loading 9mm blue bullets with mag pistol primers that I ran out of at round 90 so finished up  with small rifle primers. I am sick of not being able to buy what I want when I need it. My local store is telling me nothing is in production as the factories are shut down due to the virus. It's a good thing we don't need any ammo at this time because it wouldn't be available.  Craig

Well I was digging through a box of stuff my brother brought for reloading, found 236 223/556 cases, got them sized and deprimed, trimmed to length & cafered, pocket staking all cut clean, they are in the tumbler being cleaned and polished to be ready to load up.  However primers are nowhere to be found.  Its OK because with the covid stuff he will delay his visit for a while.

I ordered 2000 pieces of 147gr 9mm round nose bullets. These are a new brand that I am trying for a comp bullet. I found a new startup company and am hoping that I really like these bullets.

Well talk about boredom. Finished 50 45 for a friend and even delivered them to him. I am burned out on reloading.  Craig

Swaged 300 190 grain bullets out of annealed 9mm brass and got them loaded for my 10mm.  Bullets are 0.72 long so they will be about 100 fps slower than 180 gr XTPs.

What gear are you using to swage your bullets DDRiller?

DDRiller

I bought a swage die from BT Sniper for one step forming bullets.  I did add another step and use a star crimp die from them also.  Bullet is similar to the XTP.  Was using a Lee Classic for the press but now use a Walnut Hill.

Very nice.  I was very active at cast boolits back in the timeframe when Brian was developing his gear. Has always looked like good stuff.

Well I had surgery this morning so haven't reloaded much today. Possible tonight if I can think of anything to do. Boy I did find some Starline 45 I bought when a store went out of business like 2 or 3 years ago. Mayby I will load the brass with the Sierra 185g JHP I just got lately from a friend. That could be interesting.  Craig

He has some very nice things and his new nitride coating is very good.  I got started using his dies for .458 Socom several years ago.  This .40 die is a replacement for a CH die that wore out and started making .403 bullets.

Finished up some 9MM and 45 for a friend. The 45 was a Sierra 185g JHP. Very nice bullet that I will do 50 for myself tomorrow. He gave me the bullets so I guess I don't mind loading some for him. He is going to try them in a AR type rifle. I did some 230g FMJ that worked great he thought so I suggested this bullet so we will see how it goes.  Craig
