I have been using this bullet for a few years. But as a 2 cav mold. My needs are for more volume.
So I ordered a 6cav and cast with it today.

I got a dandy!!  It casts beautifully!  But I started it out with two cycles in the oven last night. I dont think I had a single cull!!

I cast up about 600 pcs in short order. I PC'd half in Dupont Beige and other half in Tiger Drylac Ocre brown. BEAUTIFUL powders!!  Coat quick and easy. Baked flowed and covered evenly. Nothing aggressively stuck to each other or the screen.

I sized them .401 and shelved them to season a week or three. Ill load and test in a month or so.

Any other casters here using these bullets?

Very happy!

I have a six cavity TL401-75SWC.  Close, but not the same.  It has been my go-to mold for 175 grain .401 bullets for years.  I have shot them tumble lube as intended, with traditional lube and powder coated.  Like you, I have been very happy with the mold.

When I first got my first 10mm I got the RCBS 2 cavity 175 grain TC with a slight SWC, they were accurate from the 1006.  Later on I added a Lyman 175 grain TC in 4 cavity and it too was a great performer, I cased a 5 gallon bucket full one day when I was working at a slow fire station.  I'm kicking myself for not getting the Lyman 200 grain TC, but later I added the RCBS 200 grain with a slight SWC that has been a great performer as well.
A while back I was given some Lyman Devastator 156 grain HP bullets to test with, I was hooked and went on the search for that Lyman Devastator mold (Single cavity) but it was obsolete.  But one of the members on the old Handloads.com forum offered to sell me one new in the box so I got it at a good price.

There are many good mold makers that are making multi cavity molds and even have pins to change the nose profiles with various HP pins or flat nose designs from the same mold...

I have a 2 cav Lyman 175 & 200G. Great bullets. I also have a 175 RN FP bullet. The last has been a good preformer.

This mold is gonna be awesome.

WHY DO THEY CALL IT COMMON SENSE WHEN IT IS SO UNCOMMON?

RDub01, may I ask about the AL-7?  Is that the old Alcan powder? or Accurate Arms powder?
Thanks again for the range info!

Hello
It's an old Alcan powder. I bought a bunch of it back in the day (late 70's..) when I loaded shot shells.  Its burn rate is just a tad slower than Blue Dot and is usable in handgun loads. The older manuals usually included it.  I'm always looking for ways to use it up before it does go bad.. Hasn't yet.

I tested feeding yesterday in four 40's. All where 100% so I dont think Ill have problems.
My HiPower is very picky. But it ate three full mags last two as fast as I could shoot them. First mag put all 12 into less than a golf ball at 50'.

The two Glocks 24/35 also gobbled down a couple magazines. (Not really suprized) Last and biggest hurtle was the PCC...  It also shot off my small med and large sticks 100%!!

Also accuracy was superb with Power Pistol.

That's what I though with the "AL" nomenclature on you earlier post.  Yes ALcan was a widely used powder back in the day!
For those who are not familiar with Alcan #7 it is a flat sheet of powder that is square cut

Four 22 rnd sticks fast as I could safely shoot them. NO HICKUPS!  Not a single bauble!!  VERY HAPPY!!

Load also shoots well enough! Shooting about 2" @ 50 yards offhand.

Started the stock up process last night, Im most of the way thru a brick of CCI 500's!

I'm in the early stages of getting wares together to begin casting for my G20 stock.

This mold is what I want to start with, so good to hear!

My plan is to powder coat the cast boolits.

Any words of encouragement or recommendations/tips/hints are appreciated!

I run with the Lyman 175TC sized at 0.4015" with White Label Carnauba Red Lube no issues in the Glock Factory or aftermarket barrels.

Very nice operation CW.  Yes the Lyman 175 grain TC is almost the exact same.  The Lyman 156 grain Devastator is designed from the same 175 grain cherry but has a Hollow Pointer pin. (it is Obsolete)
The older RCBS 175 TC has a slight SWC in it's design as does the RCBS 200 grain.  I have seen good accuracy out to 100+ yards from my S&W1006 with all of these using Blue Dot powder.

My mold is still in the box, but plan on putting it to work soon.
