I have not had the chance to dissect the Nosler 10mm ammo as of yet!  It would be interesting to see what they are loading theirs with...Not bad specs;

Thanks I ordered 4 boxes.

Was able to shoot some of this today with good results.  Used my CED Millenium chrony that has always done a good job.  Used my G20SF and with stock barrel it produced 1134 fps average with a standard deviation of only 8 fps.  Case head expansion measured .433.

Next put in the 6" KKM barrel and what do you know, it averaged 1250 fps with a S.D. of only 7 fps.  Case head .428.

Finally tried it in the Mech Tech where it went 1401 fps with S.D. of 15 fps.  Case head .428. 

The three tests were done with 5 rounds each and I wrote down the individual numbers to get better statistics with additional tests in the future.  All were shot at 100 yards which I never do with the pistol but the 6" KKM produced 5 rounds into 3 1/2" using the open sights!  I have yet to find any ballistic gel tests to see what this bullet will do but it looks like quality stuff.  I will try some 25 yard groups next time and attach my Burris FFIII to get the best I can do.

If Shadow would not mind, I will do a pull down with pictures and measurements and email them directly to him to make sure I get all of the bases covered so he can do a proper post.  I am now glad I went on the hook for 1K rounds.

Nosler just put this on sale again for only 20 bucks a box of 50.  It also includes some discounts on .45 and .40 as well.  While my chrony shows it to be less than nuclear, it might be the biggest bang for the buck in usable defensive ammo.
