I know there are lots of cheaper ammo options for a dedicated  coyote shotgun. Because I am not dropping a bunch of them on a regular basis, Hevi-Shot dead coyote seems to work well : ) this coupled with my Mossberg: 835 Ulti-Mag 3.5 Turkey. With Carlson's Coyote choke, and Hevi-Shot ammo, 70 yard kills are suggested, I would say more like 50 - 60 yards in my experience. 9 pellets of tungsten 😀😀😀...either way I'm pretty exited to get out before returning to work from my knee replacement

The State here uses a Benilli Super Nova 12 ga and uses nothing but the Remington #4 buckshot. The Hevi-shot they tried and it was okay but none of the guys would use it. It was Remington or nothing. That's okay cause I got to unload a lot of the Hevi-Shot on clays. They use a lot of the Remington Solid Copper saboted slugs too thru their Remington 870 rifled slug barrel. Decks a hog pretty good too. While I'm not always the sharpest crayon, their 870 will shoot the solid copper slugs under a 2" group at 100 yds. I would have never expected any scattergun to be that accurate.
Glad to hear the knee is coming along. Won't be long and you'll be good as new....or close to it anyway.
