I have been looking as well and will look into the ones mentioned above. 

Does anyone have the pro chrono dlx?  I have read quite a bit of positive feedback on other forums.  Currently midway has them for 109 with free shipping for Black Friday.  The bluetooth is a nice feature.

As sqb says bamboo skewers com in a life long supply for about 2 bucks. I als have a piece of 6 mil translucent plastic sheet that Ive clipped to the little sunshades. This covers the whole apparatus  and greatly reduces errors. Im going to use a side cover too, since if you are using this unit in a low trajectory sunshine time the suns reflection off the bullet will give an error. In spite of this though I get the best performance overcast days.
