Welcome to the forum Steven!  You are looking for the Holy Grail S&W1046...these are rare but do come up for sale on occasions sometimes years between them.  Good luck with your search.
I own one of them myself, but not likely to part with mine.  ::)

A search of the web shows a 614 for sale here: https://www.gunsamerica.com/904847950/COLT-M16-A1-Model-614-Full-Auto-Class-3-Fully-Transferable.htm

Enjoy the forum and best regards!  :D

I'll be picking up a G20C from a good friend of mine here shortly. He bought it New several years  ago and has only shot it a handful of times.  I've been after him for a while to let me take it off his hands.  I intend to use it as my out west backpacking sidearm and also anything that calls for  open carry such as hunting, 4 wheeling, etc.  I look forward to digging into the data you guys have.  I've been reloading for my G23 for several years, so it won't be long before I start to home brew for this one as well.

Ray F.

Hi y'all.  I'm Ray in Virginia.  Lurked for a while, but decided to register after diving into my second 10mm platform.  First was a Glock 29SF, but got spooked with the ability for it to fire out of battery.  Sold it and gave up 10mm until I got an RIA Ultra MS.  Struggling with a touch of buyer's remorse because I pass a GP100 Wiley Clapp 10mm (under glass) every time I hit the range.

I reload for 12 different calibers, but I find 10mm the most intriguing.  I think its my impression that it was designed to run hot loads, but the space beyond the 200gr @ 1200fps Norma load is pretty narrow.

Anyway, thanks for the board and appreciate the company of fellow 10mm enthusiasts!

Welcome to the forum Ray!  The Glock 29 is a great platform with the 10mm, I doubt it would fire out of battery but depending on higher impulse loads it my unlock too early.  It is why I opted for non captive recoil system and increased spring weight.  RIA's seem to be doing quite well with the 10mm.
The 200gr @ 1200 fps is easily hit with several newer powders these days and going heavier starts to diminish the case capacity with longer projectiles.

Enjoy the forum and best regards!  :D

Hello, my name is Rick. I'm from Idaho.  I recently bought a used Kimber Custom TLE II 10mm to take to Alaska next summer.  This is my first 1911 and between this site and the 1911 Forum, I have learned a lot about potential problems I could encounter as well as solutions. I'd like to thank all of you who contributed to my education.
