Normally I fire two rounds in bare gel and then two through heavy clothing. I can also align up to four blocks if I'm testing something that I expect to penetrate deeper, Like when I tested the Cutting Edge bullets.

I have some Hornady 10mm 175gr Critical Defence on its way right now and I just finished up some Double Tap testing yesterday.

Doesn't cost much more than the FMJ's. 

I would love to see those results. I use the FMJ at the range almost exclusively.

super interested in the gel test. I know that you are busy 5 Pins. I will wait for the results with bated breath. I just hope it does not disappoint.

I was hoping to do this week but I may not be able to melt the blocks in time.

It's looking like it's going to be next week before I can shoot the gel. I did get a chance to shoot it off hand at 10 yards and it seems to shoot pretty well. I also had a chance to shout it over the chronograph and I'm coming up much less than the advertised 1164fps. luckily it's a 50 round box and I'm going to try it again before I shoot it in the gel. I really think I must have made a mistake.
