So right now thehighroad.org and marlinowners.com are both down and went down within a minute of each other. Has the left now started running DOS on gun related websites?

They both came up about the same time. They are hosted at completely different companies so it was likely not an equipment issue.

You made me go look. I got on The High Road just fine tonight. ???
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

PCFlorida

Yes, they are working fine now. Though I am not a conspiracy theory nut, I also don't believe in coincidences.

Wasn't there like TWO The High Roads once? One by the original guy that started it, and one by the people that bought him out? I wonder who won the lawsuit of which one(s) had the legal right to use the name?

Yes, there were two for quite some time, I don't remember what happened to other one any longer.

Just because they are hosted by different companies doesn't mean it still may not have been a common infrastructure problem.

Many hosting companies don't run their own data centers, so the websites could have still been in adjacent racks.  And hosting companies may or may not run their own DNS.  Those are just two things that immediately come to mind.
