Hello and welcome to the forum Craig!  Yes I'm am a fan of the S&W 10xx series of pistols.  The S&W 1006 was my first 10mm early on in 1990.

Welcome 10mmorbust!

I'm glad you moved to a free state. I lived in upstate NY for about 10 years a lifetime ago. It is a beautiful state, but I'm glad I moved as the politics are so bad now. Good luck to you.

Hello 10mm Folks.  I just joined in your ranks as a proud fellow 10mm owner for the first time.  Went with the Ruger SR1911.  This seems to be a fine bunch, and glad to now officially be a part of it.

Welcome to the forum and the 10mm madness Ed!  There is a problem though...what will be your next 10mm firearm?  Oh yes the addiction is very real!  ;D

I first caught the 10mm madness about 10 years ago when i borrowed a freind's Glock for my CHP qualification.  Wanted one ever since.  I will probably focus on collecting some brass and reloading before I look for my next one, Shadow.  I already reload for 40 S&W so I have most of what I need to start.  But the Colt DE looks pretty sweet.

Tennessee Jed

Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking here for years, thought I should finally introduce myself.  I'm an ordinary guy in Middle Tennessee, with a strong interest in the 10mm.  Been firing a Glock 20 Gen 3 for about 7 years.  Look forward to interacting more here.

Thanks,

TN Jed

Hi my name is Dan and from Maine. Finally went for it and got a Sig P220 Match Elite in 10mm. Did a good amount of reading and research on here prior to my purchase. Pretty much fell in love with the round and the gun. Thanks for all the discussions, maybe now I'll have something to contribute.

Well, I guess it's my turn since I've been lurking here and asking questions for a few months. Name is Nick and I grew up in KY in a period where all the 10 - 12 year old boys had 22 rifles and we could by a box of 22 Long for 35 cents. Of course we were all Boy Scouts and members of the KY Conservation Club where rifle and safety training was a must.

Spent 4 years in the USAF, two 18 month tours in the Philippines and one year at Minot, ND. My main job was air/ground communications working all the military aircraft in/out of South East Asia. My main hobby before shooting is Ham radio.

The next 40 years were spent in the coal industry, 18 years in underground equipment engineering and 22 years in equipment sales and marketing. Retired at 66 in 2015 and have really enjoyed the past 2 years. This year has not been the best, ended up with a triple bypass in September and am having a successful recovery.

I've owned and fired many guns in the past few years and really enjoy shooting handguns, especially my newly found love, 10mm. I've read most of the pages on this site and enjoy the learning process. I started reloading before my surgery and have 150 rounds of various weight loads to try when my cardio doc approves me for shooting again.

Right now I have a Glock 20 G4, Glock 40 MOS with Burris FFIII, Colt DE and Ruger SR1911. Haven't shot the Ruger yet, it's first on my list.

So, keep up the good work and great informative posts, I've learned a lot here and hope to learn more.

Guess I'll respond too!  I'm Jerry, 64 years young, and have been shooting for a LONG time, off & on. New to 10's (about a year & half ago) with a RIA FS. Now have 3, added another RIA FS HC and a Sig. P220.

Lived in FL for most of my life, but now reside in North Carolina, where I plan on STAYING!
