I got it worked out, first one posted :-D

Well guys just to lighten things up a bit , I had shoot off with 175 gr Winchester Silvertips vs Sig Sauer 180 gr V crown.
The silver tips won, maybe due to the lighter recoil. Now I am thinking should I carry the Silvertips.   

While the Silvertips are harder to get these days as components you can still find ammo at times.  Winchester has the Ranger series of ammo as well which is said to be the Old Black Talon without the black lubaloy coatings.

The Sig V-Crown is being made by Sierra Bullets however the 180's are not available as components but the 165's are.

One thing I see is replenished stock under the new leadership, it is likely people are saturated not knowing the outcome back in November.  Gun sales have also slowed down, prices may also tumble as time goes on.

I have a stash of about 500 rds of SilverTips.

I like the v-crown, and my gun shoots them well. They average 1178 fps from my G29.
