Are the factory 9x25 Dillon cartridges loaded with rifle powder?
How powerful is 10mm? Well, see those craters on the moon?

It would not use a traditional bottleneck powder like 4895 or Reloader 15.  But I think it would do fine with a 30 carbine powder like H110.

Negative on Rifle powder...DY was loading LongShot and Underwood was loading 800X.

I have used Blue Dot, LongShot, 800X, Power Pistol, AA#9, H-110/296, CFE Pistol and AutoComp still have to test with the BE-86 and more of the ones listed to study performances.

I will say that the shorter barrels do better with the faster burning powders!  Although the 6" has a better velocity ratings.

This!! The slowest pistol powder is all you need.

I know necro thread alert, but hey at least I used the search function.

Shadow what have you seen the best results with using 125 Gold Dots or maybe 125 Barnes TAC TX rounds from a 4.2" barrel?

I have a G29 that I recently bought a Bar Sto extended threaded barrel for and I want to work up some loads with those bullets. So far Quickload is not being much help.

Hello Mike D!  I am using the same loads as shown in the link of the pull downs because they have provided great results.
The 800X works well with shorter barrels and Longshot is better for longer barrels.

I still haven't been able to document the 125 Barnes TAC-XP, but you need to realize they are longer being all copper.

I believe Intercooler will be sending some to document fairly soon and that could yield even more loading potential.

Thanks Shadow. I had to send my barrel and slide to Bar Sto for fitting so it will be a bit before I get to experiment.

I definitely know I'll have to back down with the Barnes bullets but they should be a fantastic performer.
