Hi All...During this past year 2015 myself and my lease & hunt partners have been seeing a variety of non native & non game animals on our hunt lease in west central Texas...there is an exotic game ranch adjacent to our hunt lease property & evidently some animals are escaping...as a result we now have Aoudad...Axis Deer & Blackbuck Antelope on our lease property..
Was sitting in my blind Dec 23...4:30 pm and this Blackbuck male came in from the right and stopped at my feeder...range 51yds.. set up for handgun hunting..stood facing my blind and one shot to center of chest from my Glock Model 40 10mm dropped it in its tracks...never moved....Glock Model 40 10mm..Trijicon RMR 06 sight...KKM BBL...starline brass...CCI 300... 10grains Alliant Power Pistol...Speer 165grain Gold Dot...could not ask for better performance...

Aw man I love it!!!!! Thank you for sharing! The 10mm will smack the deer. I have taken three deer with 10mm's. Works quite well. :)

Congratulations Pete and welcome!!!
Fantastic harvest, are you going to have it mounted?  I took a Blackbuck on a ranch with exotics near Kerrville, TX. about 7 years ago.  He's hung on the wall in my office now.
Blackbuck Antelope are not large animals, so center chest (head on) hit at 50 yards is excellent (even with RMR) shot.  That's good shooting.
Thanks for sharing the pic and the story about your hunt.

Regards,

Hey Rojo...cannot do a shoulder mount due to the placement of that center chest hit...
will do a european skull mount and will have the hide tanned..
