Midway has some 180 grain 10mm JHP bullets for $11.24 per 100. I think they are Hornady HAP bullets. They are not a true hollow point, like their XTP bullets, but they are balanced the same as their XTP bullets, so practicing is cheaper than using real defense loads.

Thank you! I just ordered 500 (5 boxes). I saved about $5.00 on shipping by purchasing a $7.99 knife with free shipping.

They look like XTP's with out the serrations.... Wonder if THAT was the defect...

HAP are GREAT all all range activities. Not an accident. I LOVE them for high velocity loading. On sale? WOOT!!!!!

EDIT: Just bought 500. Last HAP's I bought were around $15.

One review of this one:

QuoteMIDWAY ROCKS!!! Bought several hundred of these the day they came out on clearance. They weigh in at 180 gr -.01 on the random samples and are the proper diameter. I just happen to have a box of hollow points that are 180 grain from a company that starts with an N. I cannot tell a difference oh, and they shoot EXACTLY the same. Read into that as you please :) If you are on the fence, go for it, you will happy you did.

According to that review, they are Nosler.

The picture looks like Hornady HAP bullets.

I don't care. Great deal with either brand.

I got mine today. They don't look like HAP bullets. They have expansion cuts in the outside, so they are true Hollow-points that can be used for defense. At least I think they are true hollow-points: I have not shot one into gel or water to know how well they expand.

I wish I bought more.

P.S. They look similar to the 155gr Hornady XTP bullets, but longer

Thanks for the update. Mine are  now due for delivery Friday because of the Big Freeze.

I agree with this. They look identical to HAPs,  but with the only tiny slices in the copper - which are not as deep as XTP slices. Do NOT care, they look great. SCREAMING DEAL!!

THANK YOU!!!

Wow man, I owe you!

I wonder what this are? Dunno, but heck of a deal. I bought 500. I have bullets for days!!

Thank you very much.
