Has anyone increased the recoil spring in a 1006?
If so how high did you go and what was the results?

Original spring strength is supposed to be 18 pounds which is pretty decent for 10mm. I prefer 20-22 for heavy stuff. 18 is plenty unless you're going hot.

Remember, if you shoot weaker factory loads with a heavier spring, it may fail to move the slide. Those 1006 slides are heavy. I've had issues with factory loads with my 22 pound spring.

I run the Wolff 22lbs spring in my 1006 and even with the 40S&W conversion barrel the 40's still cycle reliably.
The 22 lbs even works with my 9x25 Dillon conversions as well.

Yes I have 2 Bar-Sto Match Grade conversion barrels for the 1006... ;D

I have a 20 lb Wolff spring in mine. The hottest load I've used is 10 grs of blue dot under a 200 fmj and my target loads are 8.5 of ble dot w/ a 180 gr projectile. Works well for bothloadings
