I have a nice MP5 .40 LE trade in Kit inbound.
Bought a .40 flat, high impulse locking piece and rail.
Getting Michaels Machine to build it as the 10mm MP5 is tricky...
Went ahead and got 10 mags to go with it....
I got start loading some 10mm

Wow please keep us informed, I still kick myself for not buying the Coharie Clone when opportunity knocked..

Shot the 10mm mp5 a few times, nice but nothing special as they use weak ammo.

Any idea on the time line for this build?

Hk made 2 different locking wedges 1 low impulse 2nd high impulse for hotter ammunition.

So.  Mikes machines is finally starting.   I would hope to have it in a few weeks.  HK parts had sent the wrong flat.

Hope it's better than the junk Coharie Arms MP10 I had. That had horrid build quality. Crappy welds, crappy paint , and mags that would barely function in the gun even after much reworking!

I don't have any personal experience with Michaels machine.
Do have decent amount with ghillebear over at HK pro .I have 1 build from him 9mm mp5, friend has 3 of his builds mp5k , mp5 .40 and a g3k from him . To the op yes please stay away from cohaire arms I've seen a mp5 .40 loose all it's bolt gap in less than 1000 rds using a cohaire trunnion.  Stick with German or RCM parts .
