I just purchased a Fort Knox gun safe from an estate .  The seller didn't know anything about the safe .  I know it must be an older modle , because it has a 3 spoke handle , and only 3 anchor bolt holes in the bottom .

Can someone tell me anything about this safe ?

   TIA,

   Ted

Shadow , thank you for the reply .  I have been unable to locate a serial number .  A sticker on the bottom edge of the inside of the door has several patent numbers .

BEEMER!

The serial number is probably on the back.

Call Fort Knox if you cannot find it and they should tell you where to look.  You might have to email them some pictures so they can date it.

Good luck.

Beemer , Thank you for your reply .  I sent Fort Knox a message on their web site contact page .  I hope they get back to me soon .  I thought I would ask here thinking someone on the forum may be able to answer my questions .

Just call them  They are great people to deal with.I managed to chip a spot on my Guardian black cherry and they sent me a touch up bottle of paint that matched perfectly

I'm a Liberty fan, but most safe companies are great to deal with. The serial number is usually on the very bottom of the back side unless they took it off. You can try taking the fire panel off the door and looking in there. My Liberty had a sticker there. Seen it when I went from a manual lock to digital.
