Thought I would share this data recently developed for my stock Glock 20.   Currently loading 165 GDHP bullets, but wanted something less expensive and bulk that would shoot good.

Bullet - 165 gr Accura Powerbond Flat Point
Case - New Starline
Primer - CCI 350
Powder - AA # 9

14.1 - 1224 fps
14.4 - 1248 fps
14.7 - 1256 fps Most Accurate
15.0 - 1279 fps
15.3 - 1294 fps

My 165 GDHP's are also 1256 fps using 15.2 gr. and WLP primers.

No signs of pressure/smileys on any load.  These are safe in my pistol, please develop your loads by working up.....watching for signs of pressure.

I would add that 15.0 grains is the published max charge for AA#9 with 165 grain in the Accurate Arms data.

Thanks for the information and test report.  May I ask what group size you had with the 14.7 grain load, or even add the group size for each charge?

Can't seem to get this photo thing down......sorry for the image.

14.7 shows good grouping from three shots.   14.4 was the second best group, followed by 15.0.  Others strung up and right or simply spread out.

Also, AA data max at 15.0 is only at 34,100 psi.......My 15.2 GDHP and 15.3 FP showed no signs of overpressure.   Pressure band on cases for these higher loads were .4325 - .4335.   I did notice recoil became more noticeable at 15.0 and 15.3.

Not being critical of your load data.  Just too many guys out there see a load on the internet and think it sounds like a good starting point.

Thanks for the accuracy info and the picture.  Good data!
